NCHS: Care Walk with Nightingale & Sage inspired by Beneath the Great Wave
Inspired by the exhibition Beneath the Great Wave and the small details that Hokusai often captured, join us for a slow, nurturing walk discovering Whitworth Park. During a gentle amble, explore green and quiet spaces; learn simple self-help relaxation techniques; use your senses; pause and rest; and, for a while, walk silently. The walk will be guided by Nightingale & Sage.
Meeting point: The Whitworth, Oxford Road Entrance
Distance: Less than 1 mile (next option is 1-2 miles)
Walk difficulty: Easy. Suitable for wheelchairs, mobility aids and prams/ pushchairs.
