Sow & Grow: Wildflower Meadow Sowing
Thursday 25 April, 11am-1pm
FREE, booking required, see links below
Location: Whitworth Park

Come and join City of Trees at Whitworth Park to create a Wildflower Meadow!

After two successful sessions of meadow management, the ground at Whitworth has been prepared to sow wildflower seeds in the Spring. This will bring colour and vibrancy to this corner of the park, hopefully bringing joy to the many users of the gardens at Whitworth as well as supporting our vital pollinators. This is a great chance to pop down for an hour or two to revitalise this outdoor space. We will be sowing British native wildflower seeds.

All tools and gloves will be provided. Please remember to wrap up warm and make sure you wear appropriate clothing and footwear for being outside, and for the activity and weather. All ages and abilities are welcome.
