Everyday Art School this Easter Holiday

Come and hang out in our Everyday Art School and explore ideas to bring art into your everyday life and rethink how we use it. The whole family can get hands-on and work with artist Loren Hardy to try out ways to reconnect art with our day-to-day lives through creative play and making.

All sessions are FREE, drop-in and open to all ages

Paolozzi Pop-Art
Wednesday 10 April, 10.30am-12.30pm
Location: Everyday Art School

Explore colours and patterns and make our own pop-art style collages inspired by the work of Eduardo Paolozzi and other artists on display in Everyday Art School.

Paper Puppet Folklore
Friday 12 April, 1.30pm-3.30pm
Location: Everyday Art School

Make paper puppets and invent our own myths and legends inspired by the storytelling of the Malaysian Wayang Kulit.

Open Play
Every day, 10am-5pm

Self-led loose parts play session for all ages in our new Everyday Art School play space.

All sessions are FREE, drop-in and open to all ages.
We have a Quiet Space available, and all areas are accessible.

Feel Good Kids Art Club*
Sat 13 April, 1pm-3pm
Free, book your place
Location: Clore Garden Studio & Whitworth Park

Aimed at ages 7-12, children will explore calming mindfulness techniques, all while connecting with nature and creating meaningful artwork. Capacity is limited so please book and arrive on time to avoid disappointment. This session is led by Jessica Wilkinson from The Sea Within. Find out more.

*Please note: This session is just for children; parents and guardians please feel free to look around the gallery spaces or enjoy a break in the Whitworth Café whilst you wait.
