PLAY TIME

All August the Whitworth is exploring the art of play, events are FREE and drop-in

PLAY TIME | Scrap Studio

All this summer the Whitworth will be exploring the art of play.

Have a wander and find things to do both indoors and out. With our Scrap Studio, sketching stations, Whitworth Minecraft, and a sensory area for babies, there’s something for all the family in a gallery where art meets nature.

All events are FREE and drop-in

Scrap Studio

Throughout August

The Clore Garden Studio will be packed full of open-ended, recycled equipment to be pulled out and played with in the Art Garden and Park. With old tyres, large reels, huge tubes and pipes, big boxes, crates, and much more, there’s a world of possibilities to explore and create with.

Scrap Baby
