Free, booking requiredWork directly with artist Somi Ko in this hands-on session inspired by Hyundai Translocal Series: Entangled and Woven, exploring the tactile possibilities of hanji paper. Participants will learn to crochet using hand-spun fibre, gaining insight into Ko’s meditative approach to material, time and the body.

Embroidery Workshop with Jounghye Yoo
Saturday 11 July

Free, booking requiredJoin exhibiting artist Jounghye Yoo for a special embroidery workshop inspired by Hyundai Translocal Series: Entangled and Woven, centred on her installation Gilded Veil, which brings together Korean silk embroidery and Indian ajrakh block printing. Participants will embroider onto intricately hand-printed and naturally dyed ajrakh fabric created by master dyer Dr Ismail Khatri, engaging directly with these cross-cultural techniques and taking home a unique textile piece.
