The Care Lab
The Care Lab is a gallery space based in the Whitworth's Collection Care Centre, where you can see how we are caring both for people and our collection.
Based in the Whitworth's Collections Care Space, The Care Lab is part of a three-year University of Manchester research project, bringing together arts, health, and social care researchers and practitioners to examine Care Aesthetics – projects of more artful care and careful art.
The Lab hosts practical sessions, conversations, and events with a focus on the importance of care in all our lives. Join us on Thursdays each week and discover this new space, hear from the project team, and ask questions about future plans. See below for the latest events and activities taking place in The Care Lab space.
Further dates will be released closer to the time.
