Gallery Tours

Discover what tours are on offer at the gallery – led by members of our Visitor Team.

Get a deeper insight into the Whitworth’s gallery and park. Led by a member of our Visitor Team, our daily tours* alternate between a more detailed look at our current exhibitions and works on display, and an escape to the outdoors to share the stories of Whitworth Park.
Tours are not bookable and are limited to 20 people per tour. Please meet us at the gallery's Parkside Entrance on the Lower Promenade (see the Gallery Map). To avoid disappointment, we encourage you to arrive a little bit before 2pm. Our Whitworth Park Walks take place outside – please dress appropriately for the weather.

*Please note:
There may be times when, due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to run our daily Highlights Tour. If you intend to visit us purely for a tour, please call 0161 275 7450 on the day of your visit to confirm if the tour is going ahead.
