Highlights Tours
Tuesday to Sunday 2-2.45pm*
FREE, no need to book
Get an insight into our history, architecture, and park as well as a more detailed look at some of our current exhibitions and works on display. These tours are open to all and are led by a member of our Visitor Team.
Please meet us at the gallery's Parkside entrance.
*Please note: There may be times when due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to run our daily Highlights Tour. If you intend to visit us purely for a tour, please call ahead on 0161 275 7450 on the day of your visit, to confirm if the tour is going ahead, or alternatively, visit our Twitter page @whitworthart, for any updates.
Highlights Tours are not bookable and are limited to 20 people per tour.
To avoid disappointment, we encourage you to arrive a little bit before 2pm.

Whitworth Park Walks

Escape to the outdoors where we share stories about the history, nature, and sculptures of Whitworth Park. These tours are open to all and are led by a member of our Visitor Team. Please ensure you have dressed appropriately for the weather.
Please meet for the walk, at the gallery's Parkside entrance.
*Whitworth Park Walks are run intermittently depending on the weather and staff availability.
