Work Experience

We offer work experience to students at Manchester Academy, our schools partner.

Manchester Academy is our schools partner – together, we're working on a three-year project to explore whether art can be used as a tool to enact positive social change in young people’s lives. Students from Manchester Academy have the opportunity to join us for work experience, learning more about the various roles and programming at the gallery. We'll post upcoming dates and opportunities to this page.

We do offer wider work experience opportunities to students at other schools and next year our dates are Tuesday 7th to Friday 10th July 2026. If your work experience dates fall on this week and you’d like to join us, please email whitworthlearn@manchester.ac.uk
