Studio Nights
In these free, informal sessions in our Clore Garden Studio, you can connect with exhibitions, meet new people and explore arts practice. Take advantage of the gallery remaining open after hours as we explore our spaces and inspire your inner creativity.
Animation

Make

Explore the theatrical staging, art historical paintings, wallpapers, specimens, contemporary photographs and videos of Yuki Kihara: Darwin in Paradise Camp with this hands on making session.
Printmaking

Join our experienced printmaker for an evening exploring the variety of mark-making offered by printmaking as we look towards the worlds of two major schools of ukiyo-e Japanese woodblock printmaking through the exhibition Beneath the Great Wave: Hokusai, Hiroshige, and the Evolution of Ukiyo-e.
Outdoor Art

Explore the circles and cycles of life as you connect to our Hyundai Translocal Series: Entangled and Woven_Textile Art Exchanges between Korea, India, and the U.K. with nature as designer as the theme.
Continuing Professional Development (CDP)
Enrich your teaching and extend your practice with an all-staff CPD session at the Whitworth. Connect with the collection and learn practical skills that you can use back in the school setting. Why not play our Minecraft resource and develop your coding skills? Or try new movement and dance techniques?
