Reception

These creative sessions focus on play, drawing, movement and nature to support children’s early explorations of art and the gallery.

All two hours long with a break in the middle, each session costs £160. To book, or for more information, please contact whitworthlearn@manchester.ac.uk 

  • Play

    Combines a range of play-based activities, exploring materials in relation to artworks.

    Draw

    Exploring mark making and creating drawings based on artworks, using shape and shading. 

  • Movement

    Supporting children to embody their connection to art, nature and imagination through movement. 

  • Outdoor Art

    Combining nature walks, the use of clay and the exploration of textures, nature weaving and light and shadow.
