A Sense of Growth
Lucienne Day was an enthusiastic gardener and plant forms inspired many of her textile designs. As part of the nationwide Lucienne Day centenary celebrations, an exhibition will open in spring 2017 at the Whitworth.

To mark the 100th birthday of Manchester-born Anthony Burgess this year, artist Stephen Sutcliffe and theatre director Graham Eatough collaborate to explore the writer’s series of Enderby novels in a new film, No End to Enderby. #mif17
