Launched by the Visitor Team here at the Whitworth, this is a place where we hope to give you a playful and informative look at life at the gallery.

Drawing on the diverse interests and experiences of our Visitor Team, here you will find an assortment of blog posts on topics ranging from our collections and exhibitions and what they have to say about the world we live in, to arts and craft tutorials that you can try at home. We’ll be taking you on journeys behind the scenes so you can meet the people who make the Whitworth, from staff to volunteers and community members, and see how we turn ideas into action. 

You can also explore some of the amazing projects we as a team have been working on, including Audio-Descriptions of artworks that offer an accessible and informative view of our collections, to Whitworth Invents, a programme designed to inspire innovation, creativity, and making art useful.
