The Gallery is situated in Whitworth Park, opposite Manchester Royal Infirmary. It is about 1.5 miles south of Manchester city centre, to the south of The University of Manchester campus.

The Local map shows the area immediately around the Gallery with the locations of bus stops and parking.
PLEASE NOTE: Cecil Street Car Park E and Devas Street Car Park F are ONLY available to University Permit Holders from Mon – Fri 9am – 4pm.
They are available for public use on weekdays after 4pm and at weekends. Car park charges apply.
There is 2 hour parking as available on Denmark Road and other local streets.

There is limited parking around the Gallery, but we are well served by local buses.
For Gallery visitors only, at the front of the Gallery alongside the railings, there are five designated car parking spaces for visitors with disabilities. These are not reservable.
