The Gallery Shop
A trip to the Gallery isn't complete without picking up a unique memento of your visit from the Gallery Shop.
The shop offers one of the best selections of art and design books in the city - covering visual arts, textiles, prints and wallpapers. Find your perfect gift here too, from Lucienne Day linen teatowels to fairtrade crocheted silver jewellery.
Gallery greetings cards feature highlights from the Whitworth's collections and are only available from the shop. Also on sale is distinctive giftwrap printed with rare wallpaper or textile patterns from the collection, including japanese cherry blossom wallpaper from the 1930s and classic 1970s Biba design.
For the kids or the young at heart there's a range of pocket-money toys and creativity galore. Make your own animal slippers, get top drawing tips from The Scribble Book, or take home exhibition-themed souvenirs from the glitzy Bling Ring to gardening gear inspired by the current exhibition about trees.
Little Greene paints and wallpapers are also available from the Whitworth shop.
