Fairy Tales
Many of the stories Walter Crane illustrated were fairy tales. His sister, Lucy, collected traditional fairy tales and translated them into English.
In 1881 Walter and Lucy made a book of fairy tales written by the German storytellers, the Brothers Grimm. Lucy translated the stories and Walter provided the pictures.
