We believe that research underpins learning at all levels - from action research undertaken by children and educators to collections-based research led by academics and artists.

Space to Think (2007)

Andrew Vaughan, Learning and Interpretation Manager ran this action research programme to explore how regular exposure to an art gallery support reflection, personalised learning and independent thinking in Year 2-3 pupils.  Commissioned by Creative Partnerships. 


Primary Consultant Museums and Galleries (2007)

An evaluation of the impact of museum and gallery visits in Manchester on literacy attainment at KS2 and of the role of embedded Primary Consultant (Museums and Galleries) with Manchester Education Partnership.  Abstract and report by Julian Stanley, University of Warwick.  Commissioned by Renaissance North West.
